The Fortunate Encounter of the Opposites
Sandra and Jorge have been married for several years and they asked me to create a painting to symbolize their love.
Jorge is a very rational guy and his favorite color is red crimson and Sandra loves the ocean and nature.
Her favorites colors are blue and turquoise.
I started the process creating small evolving paintings, 30x30cm

Painting No 1:
The two-color structures are independent of each other. The white strokes at the sides creates some lighting.

Painting No 2:
The two-color structures in a casual blending and the white, moving around both sides.

Painting No 3: The two-color structures with an ongoing integration. A few white strokes in the middle help the blending process.

Painting No 4:
The reds and blues are blended. The white strokes in the middle were the final solution to light, integrate and make transition between colors.
The final painting in their home.

A New Beginning
We were like a dead tree, before we found God in our lives -
Paola and Jorge said to me. We would love a painting with a blooming leaving tree, that matches our home’s decoration colors,
light pink, grey and brown.
I painted a blooming pink magnolia with a sunrise in the background symbolizing God’s everlasting love and the Light of Life.
The Magnolia tree symbolizes magnificence, fruitful life, endurance, eternity and longevity due to its tough flower that has adapted to different climate conditions for more than a million years now.
